Woman hurt in car crash

A DORCHESTER woman was seriously injured after the grey Toyota she was driving left the road and ended up in a field yesterday.

The driver was taken to Dorset County Hospital following the crash which took place on the A352 Old Sherborne Road near Dorchester.

The road was closed while the woman received treatment at the scene and police investigated the area.
