Call for rethink on Wimborne car park housing proposal
MEL Gudger and James Moran who represent www.wakeupwimborne.com are urging local people concerned about the loss of Old Road car park to attend next Tuesday's East Dorset District Council audit and scrutiny committee meeting.
The meeting which takes place at Furzehill at 6pm will discuss the re-development of the car park for an affordable housing scheme. This would provide two houses to rent and six shared ownership.
Mel said: "This meeting is the only opportunity for the plans to be looked at again."
He added that people would not need to be there for the whole meeting.
