Last phase of A35 Upton Bypass roadworks to close lanes until Easter holidays
Lanes will be closed in both directions on the A35 Upton Bypass as Dorset County Council continues their work on Policeman's Lane Bridge.
From today, the outside lane of the eastbound carriage will be closed between the Bakers Arms Roundabout and the A350 junction.
Work will take place between 9am and 3:45pm in order to reduce congestion for commuters.
The outside lane will also be close on the westbound carriageway, with work in both directions set to last for several weeks.

Cllr Peter Finney, cabinet member for highways and transportation at Dorset County Council, said: "We expect this final phase of work to take around six weeks to complete, which unfortunately takes us through the Easter school holidays.
"We will be removing all traffic cones during the Easter weekend from lunchtime on Thursday march 28 until rush hour on Tuesday April 2, and we hope that this will allow residents and visitors to enjoy the local attractions without additional delays.
"Drivers have helped us greatly by finding alternative routes where possible, which has kept congestion to a minimum."
