Welcome…

Now into our 3rd year of producing this very popular little book and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the advertisers within the guide. Without them we couldn’t produce this for you, so I encourage all you equestrians out there to please support your local equestrian businesses and experts many of who I personally use and would be lost without them.

Equally after a terrible 2007 with the weather and foot & mouth putting a stop to such a lot of last year’s events and shows it’s great to be able to promote the dedication of our region’s riding & pony clubs, hunts and local equestrian centres to name but a few, for organising the many fabulous competitions, events & clinics that you will find within this year’s guide.

…to The Equestrian Guide 2008.

You’ll still find the Other Events pages, listing a wide range of activities from demos, fairs & sales to open days and visits. There is extra space for you to record your personal achievements & results, with additional pages for notes, we’ve kept the useful contacts pages and the centre pages calendar to
help you plan your 2008/9 season.
Any event organisers that have missed out on the guide can still get on-line, just phone in or e-mail me the details. So once again best of luck with your equestrian pursuits and goals for the year ahead, I hope you find this year’s guide both beneficial and useful and my new horse Frankie and I hope to see you at some of this year’s competitions and events.

See you soon
