A feast of food and drama at Sturminster Marshall
THERE’S a tasty treat in store at Sturminster Marshall village hall on Sunday 13th October at 7.30pm when rural touring theatre players share The Iranian Feast - part mystery, part thriller and part cookery lesson.
The play tells the story of a family in modern-day Tehran working out how life will be in the future and features delicious Persian food, song and Iranian dancing.
Danial is a loving father, a great friend and a fantastic cook. He has gathered his friends and extended family – the audience – to join him to eat food and celebrate life. As they prepare the food a story unfolds of a family in crisis that is trying to live an extraordinary life in extraordinary times.
The Iranian Feast is touring to village venues in partnership with Artsreach rural touring scheme and Farnham Maltings.
