Tiernan Douieb
Writer and comedian Douieb took his previously fun, wordplay based comedy in a new political direction last year. His 2012 Edinburgh show Tiernan Douieb vs The World received brilliant reviews, and explained his own political awakening and frustration at the world's economic situation. Tiernan is becoming an increasingly popular figure on the UK political comedy circuit, being cited by Mark Thomas in the Guardian as one to look out for. As an avid Tweeter, Tiernan comes second only to Peter Serafinowicz in The Observer's list of Comedy Tweeters to Follow.
"Douieb has more than enough energy to go round, and he's a hugely engaging onstage presence….refreshingly honest hour." – British Comedy Guide
