Liam Neeson stars as the narrator, appearing in the form of a giant 3D hologram, in Jeff Wayne's musical adaptation of HG Wells's science-fiction novel. Marti Pellow sings the thoughts of the narrator, Jason Donovan plays Parson Nathaniel and West End star Kerry Ellis his wife Beth. Ricky Wilson from the Kaiser Chiefs is in the role of The Artilleryman.
