Monday 21st January at 7.30pm

Our guest chef, Louise Dutton, will be creating
a delicious three course traditional Scottish menu

Marbled smoked salmon, egg and herb mousse
served with Melba toast

Game Pie with pickled walnuts
Haggis (optional!)
Rumbledethumps
Glazed carrots

Chocolate and pralinéd almond tart
Cranachan ice cream

This event is in aid of the Brothers and community at Hilfield Friary,
where Louise goes to cook once a week, just for the fun of it!

Hilfield Friary is set on the edge of the Dorset Downs with magnificent views across the Blackmore Vale. There have been Franciscan brothers living there in a collection of what were once farm buildings since 1921, providing refuge for the homeless, the experience of community, and a place for prayer, reflection and renewal. Today at Hilfield there is a particular emphasis on living and promoting the Franciscan values of care for creation, working for peace and justice, and seeking respectful dialogue with people of other faiths.

Hilfield Friary is part of the Society of St Francis, a worldwide
Anglican Franciscan Religious Order
