“I have always been a dreadful Mathematician but Mrs Cowell made the lessons fun and enjoyable and always found a way to help me understand, whether it was during the lesson, or outside of class time. She was very patient and helpful to those that struggled and made everyone in the class feel very comfortable. Highly recommended :) 5/5

“Su was a fantastic Maths teacher to me for 3 years. She took time in explaining things very well so that I was able to understand. Due to her teaching I was able to take both my GCSE a year early and an AS level as well. She is a friendly and highly recommended Maths teacher!

“Mrs Cowell was an excellent maths teacher. She managed to combine the rather mundane and complicated subject of maths with her fun and energy. Not only did she make it pretty fun to learn but also explained things in a way that made me understand the maths beyond just being able to pass the exam. I reached a level where I feel I am still confident now 6 years on!

“Mrs Cowell is a 5/5 maths teacher: her teaching and support enabled me to move up from the second set in maths to the top set, even beating the best student in that class in a test. With her help, I achieved an A* in maths at GCSE, as well as an A in maths and further maths at A- and AS-levels respectively.

She has amazing patience with all of her pupils, and is able to explain difficult concepts in different ways to make sure that you grasp it fully. On top of all this, she also makes maths (which has a tendency to get bogged down in abstract theory) understandable.

“Su taught me maths for 3 years: 2 years at GCSE level and a further year for AS level. With her teaching I managed to achieve an A* at GCSE level one year early and an A grade at AS level. She is a fantastic teacher who is clear, patient and thorough. She was very popular amongst students and I am certain many of them would be very praiseworthy of her teaching methods. I would highly recommend Su to anybody seeking maths tuition.
