Fire destroys car on A338 near Bournemouth
A car was destroyed by fire after a road traffic collision near Bournemouth.
At just before 3am this morning, fire crews from Christchurch and Springbourne were called to the A338 Spur Road just past the Blackwater Junction. Officers found a car on the southernbound carriageway on fire and used two hose reel jets and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

The blaze is thought to have been accidental as the vehicle suffered a ruptured fuel tank following a collision.
