Two arrested after eight people escape alleged arson in Bournemouth
Two people have been arrested after eight occupants escaped an alleged arson at a Bournemouth house.
Emergency services were called to a property at Cornish Gardens in Wallisdown on Monday March 18, where eight occupants were inside the burning building.

The blaze, which was reported to Dorset Police at around 11:30pm caused substantial damage to the front of the house and to two vehicles parked outside.
Detective Inspector Becky Riggs of Bournemouth and Poole CID said: "This is a very serious incident and the eight occupants of the house, one of which was an 8-year-old child, are extremely fortunate not to have been badly injured or even killed.

"It's reported three people dressed in dark clothing were seen in the area around the time of the incident.
"I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident take place or may have any information about those involved to contact police immediately."
A 27-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both from Bournemouth have been arrested and are helping police with their enquiries.
