Young people have a ball at St John's
JUST before Christmas St John's Church youth group, fuse, held a Christmas Ball, where 60 teenagers were treated to a night to remember.
The event was set up to give young people a great party and to have fun but not feel the pressure of drinking alcohol. One parent made the comment after the event that it was nice for her son to wake up the day after and remember the fun he had the night before.

Andy Putt with Sharon Love.
The church hall was transformed into a winter wonderland by Sharon Love from A Touch of Love Florists from Wimborne with fairy light lit tables, white drapes and snowy trees. A Chinese banquet was provided by Lams catering followed by a party, dancing, and a large chocolate fountain from www.chocolatefountainlady. co.uk . During the evening Andy Putt, the youth pastor, gave a short talk.
A lot of hard work and planning went into this event and it was a great way to end another year of youth work at the church, and a great send off for Andy Putt who has been the youth pastor for five years but leaves next month to work on another project locally.
