Yeovil Town season-long loan an option for Fulham defender Daniel Burn
Fulham youngster Daniel Burn could stay at Yeovil Town until the end of the season if he impresses and the deal suits.
The imposing 20-year-old arrived at Huish Park on a youth loan on Tuesday, having caught the eye of manager Gary Johnson in the Cottagers’ reserve side.

New Yeovil Town loan signing Daniel Burn
Burn - who made his name at local club Darlington before a six-figure switch to the Premier League outfit - had already attracted a list of potential suitors but Yeovil came out on top due to their long-term admiration.
Johnson revealed the centre half who can also play at left back could remain in Somerset beyond the initial month Yeovil, Fulham and the player agree.

He said: “With the youth loan it can go as long or as short as you like. They can’t call him back for 28 days anyway but the youth loan means it doesn’t have to be 93 days and we see this as a longer-term one where we can have it for as long as the three parties want it to be.
“It could go to the end of the season as it is an open-ended deal but they do get a recall after 28 days if they need him.”
Johnson described Burn as “Peter Crouch-esque”, saying: “He’s a six foot six, left-sided centre back that can play left back as well. He came for a lot of money from Darlington and that was when he was 18.
“We had kept an eye on him, watched him a lot of times over the past couple of years in the reserves. Fulham weren’t letting him out and we asked when he became available if they would let us know.
“They let us know this week, we have been down to see his last couple of reserve games and there were a few in for him but we had put our names down pretty early.
“He hasn’t got the experience yet, Fulham want him to get some and he is a big lad with quality feet. He is a good footballer. He is Peter Crouch-esque, he is that shape and certainly his size. He will definitely get his games, that’s for sure.”
