Yate wasted no time as Scott Wilson opened the scoring in the first minute of play.

The home side's early lead didn't last long as Jamie Davidson, making his return to the Wimborne side levelled the game after six minutes.

Yate were controlling the game and Mike Bryant struck to restore their advantage on the half-hour mark.

The hosts all but guaranteed the three points nine minutes after the break when Michael Meaker made it 3-1.

Wimborne tried to force their way back into the game, but George Webb and Alex Moth had efforts well saved.
