Woman robbed by three men in Winton, Bournemouth

A young woman was robbed in Kemp Road, Winton at around 1.40am on Friday 15 March. 

The victim, a 20-year-old Bournemouth woman, was walking on the pavement when she was approached by three unknown men.

She was pushed onto a wall and her handbag snatched. 

The suspects then ran off in the direction of Wimborne Road. The 'Fossil' branded handbag was found discarded a short distance away with £20 missing.

 Detective Constable Emma Smith, of Bournemouth & Poole CID, said: "This incident has obviously caused a lot of distress for the young victim and I am appealing for witnesses to assist with our investigation. Fortunately she escaped without being injured."

The three suspects are believed to be aged in their twenties.

No arrests have been made.
