Volunteers needed at West Moors youth club
PEOPLE who would like to help young people in West Moors are needed to join the committee of West Moors Youth & Community Club.
The club has been running for 55 years as an important part of the community for young people and their parents. It is situated in Bond Avenue, West Moors and looks out onto Fryers Field where the young people can meet and chill out with their friends or play sport, use the bouncy castle and sometimes enjoy a BBQ.
Inside the club the young people can enjoy music from the TV or bring their own. Tournaments are organised in pool, darts, table tennis and badminton by older members or the fully qualified youth leaders.
The club has its own canteen for refreshments and a spot of cooking.
