All Day Bargain Book Sale in the United Church Hall, South Street, Dorchester 10am-4pm: in aid of the Halo Trust and Christian Aid. Fete at Joseph Weld Hospice, Dorchester 11am-4pm: entertainment throughout the day, music, line and belly dancing, majorettes and the Wessex FM Roadshow plus a great range of stalls and refreshments. Charity Car Wash at Gillingham Fire Station 10.30am-1.30pm: have your car cleaned by experts in the field of Applied Hydrokinetics! Proceeds to the Firefighters' Charity.
Sunday: Giant Bric-a-Brac and Book Sale 2.30-4.30pm in the Memorial Hall, Digby Road, Sherborne.

Tuesday 18th: Three Valleys Wildlife Group meets in Toad Hall 7.30pm: Sarah Williams of DWT on the restoration of rivers. South Dorset Association NT's guest speaker today is Douglas Drinnan on the work of the magistracy, 2.30pm St George's Church Hall, Fordington.
Wednesday 19th: Robert Potter of Dukes is the guest speaker at Charlton Down Local History Group's meeting in the village hall. Further information on 01305 269522. The Sherborne group of the DWT meets 7.30pm in the Digby Memorial Church Hall for a talk by FWAG. Sewing Coffee Morning at Tarrant Gunville Village Hall 10.30am-12.30pm.
