The video gives a Sherborne spin to Pink Floyd's classic song 'Another Brick In The Wall.'

A spokesperson from No Thanks Tesco said: "We love the video because it's low budget, homemade and factual and puts the case across in pictures and words in a way we couldn't otherwise do.

"It's already had 900 or so views on Youtube which is great."

Tesco opened the first two of three public consultations into their plans for the Sherborne Hotel this weekend.

The final session will take place at The West End Hall and on Tuesday February 26 between 2:30pm and 7:30pm at Digby Hall.

"We welcome the public consultations of course" added the spokesperson.

"We would encourage everyone, whether for or against the development, to visit and make their questions direct to Tesco representatives.

"However, we are aware that the plans presented at these consultations may not be the same as those ultimately submitted to the Council.

"We are also cautious that what Tesco might build in the first instance could easily be extended in the future - you can see a direct example of this in Yeovil where Tesco added extra floors to both its shop and car park some years after the first build."
