VIDEO: Shaftesbury music producers make Radio 1 play list with The Family Rain
A SINGLE recorded in a studio in the basement of Toby's Young People's Project in Shaftesbury has been making national play lists.
The Family Rain are signed to Mercury Records and their latest single Carnival was recorded and mixed by Tom Jobling and Ben Marks at Toby's.

Carnival has been played on Radio 1's Zane Lowe show and on Soccer AM and the band are featured in this month's NME.
"The band are doing really well. It is a great thing to have been involved in," Tom said.

Tom is now at Bath Spa University. He works as a facilitator for a youth music project and has gained valuable experience at top studio's in New York and in the UK since recording Carnival.
After gaining work experience at Toby's, Ben secured a place at Southampton University.
Toby's was recently awarded a £2,500 grant from Youth Music to network with other youth organisations to make the best use of facilities across North Dorset and to put on a showcase event for young people to display their talent.
Carnival will be available on a limited edition numbered picture disc from Monday 18th March.
