UPDATED: 16-year-old Ringwood girl dies after A31 crash
A 16-year-old girl from Ringwood has died after a collision on the A31.
At 8:23pm last night, police received a call from the ambulance service to attend a crash on the westbound A31 carriageway near the Ashley Heath roundabout.

A 16-year-old girl from Ringwood, riding a red scooter was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family liaison officers are currently working with the victim's family, while the coroner has been informed.
Road closures were put in place, causing long delays for commuters last night and during this morning's rush hour.
One lane of the A31 westbound is due to reopen shortly to help the flow of traffic, with rolling road blocks are in place to help traffic move through the New Forest.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience these road closures cause, but this in an extremely serious and complex road traffic collision.
"We would like to thank motorists fro their patience."
