He is in the planning stage but said he had received support and encouragement since news of his project appeared last week in The Western Gazette.
He is now looking for people to volunteer as steering group members, presenters, salespeople, promoters, sound engineers and administration workers to get the station off the ground, and is encouraging them to visit www.sherbornefm.co.uk, email him at email@example.com or call 01935 817402.

"We aim also to bring social gain to Sherborne area through training, fundraising, student education and improvement of community knowledge to the residents of Sherborne.
"This will include the strengthening of community links by promoting of social inclusion, and encouraging participation in cultural activities, in particular addressing the younger and retired members of the community.
"We hope to promote the free flow of information, and opinion, and to encourage creative expression. Mr Tucker said he was also looking for business sponsors and encouraged anyone who might be interested to contact him.
