Trees and wheeliebins destroyed in fire off Weymouth street
Arsonists are believed to have started a large fire last night in Weymouth which destroyed trees and wheeliebins.
Firefighters were called to the fire just off Victoria Road, Upwey at 9.05pm and spent 35 minutes bringing it under control.
Five evergreen trees and two wheeliebins were destroyed and a car parked nearby was damaged by the heat from the blaze.
It is believed to have been started deliberately, the fire service says.
