Thieves take rare breed hens
THIEVES took ten rare breed hens from a property in Dorchester Road, Lytchett Minster.
The Light Sussex hens were stolen between 7pm on Sunday, 21st October and 9am the next day.
PC Adam Taylor of Purbeck police said: "The victim has previously suffered a spate of poultry thefts but nothing since December 2011. These have all been very upsetting incidents for the victim. I am keen to hear from anyone with information and from anyone who has been offered poultry in unusual circumstances or for an unusually low price."
