Thank you reception held for Bournemouth NHS Trust volunteers
VOLUNTEERS from the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch hospitals were treated to a high tea recently to thank them for all their support.
Members of the Trust’s Board of Directors, general managers and pupils from St Peter’s School in Bournemouth served an assortment of tea and sandwiches at the event, held in the grounds of the Royal Bournemouth Hospital (RBH) earlier this month.
Jane Stichbury, Trust chairman, said: “It is important to show our appreciation to volunteers who do a tremendous job supporting the day to day running of the hospital.”
A string quartet provided entertainment on the day and each volunteer was given a bespoke pin badge made from pewter designed with a “V” for volunteers.
