Tell Bournemouth Hospital what changes you would like to see
BOURNEMOUTH Hospital is inviting people to attend an open event in the main atrium next Wednesday from 11.30-3pm.
It is all part of NHS Change Day when everyone working in the NHS has to make a pledge of one single act they will complete. As well as encouraging staff to make their pledges, RBCH would like the public to give their feedback on the day.
The day will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Friends and Family Test - a national initiative being implemented from 1 April whereby inpatients and those coming through the Emergency Department will be asked whether they would recommend the hospital to their friends and family.
Paula Shobbrook, Director of Nursing and Midwifery at RBCH, said: "Quality of care and patient safety is our number one priority. We are committed to putting patients first, delivering care with compassion; and providing dignity and respect for our patients.

"NHS Change Day, and our information event on the 13th, is a great opportunity for us to listen to our patients and staff and to ensure the best outcomes and personal experience for everyone.
"We are proud of the services we provide and the public can be reassured that they have excellent hospitals. However we are not complacent and encourage any feedback."
