Teenager killed in A31 crash near Ringwood

THE 16-year-old girl killed in a crash on the A31 near Ringwood has been named as Jade Clark.

The teenager was riding a red scooter along the A31 sliproad near the Ashley Heath roundabout when she collided with a car on Sunday evening.

It is believed that a number of vehicles were involved in the collision and investigating officers are keen to trace one of these cars which left the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Traffic Inspector Matt Butler said: "We know from our investigation so far that a number of vehicles were involved in the incident and one of these vehicles – a Volvo XC90 – left the scene before police arrived.
