Steve Cook praises clean sheet as AFC Bournemouth return to form against Wigan Athletic
AFC Bournemouth defender Steve Cook praised the Cherries' return to form as they defeated FA Cup holders Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
Lewis Grabban's goal was enough to hand the Cherries three points as Eddie Howe's side bounced back from their 6-1 defeat at Watford.
"We are delighted with the win and it's a great way to bounce back from last weekend" explained Cook.
"We just wanted to win and get a clean sheet - it didn't matter how we did it, we just needed to do it.

"Maybe we didn't keep the ball as well as we could have, but you can't have it all, and at the end of the day - we've got six points from nine."
After conceding six goals at Watford last week, the Cherries put in a stern defensive display with Cook playing a pivotal role.
Saturday's clean sheet should give the Cherries confidence ahead of Saturday's SkyBet Championship game at Huddersfield.
"All of their (Wigan's) players have played and excelled at the highest level, so to keep a clean sheet was huge for us" added Cook.
"We will work on building on that in training, and hopefully take it into the three games we have next week because we need to pick up points from them."
