Starry opening for Colehill library
MICHAEL Medwin, star of countless films and TV series, accompanied by two schoolchildren, will cut the tape at the formal opening of Colehill Library on Saturday 9th February, National Library Day.
Mr Medwin, who lives in Wimborne, grew up in Colehill.
The library was taken into community hands on Tuesday 8th January. Managed by Colehill Community Library Limited it is hoped to obtain charitable status in the near future.
David Mitchell, chairman of Colehill Parish Council said: "We intend to make the library a centre for all residents with education and pleasure for young and old at the heart."
