Silton wind farm plans rejected
Villagers were clebrating today after plans for for a windfarm near Silton in north Dorset have been rejected by a planning inspector.
Next Generation Limited (Ecotricity) appealed against North Dorset District Council's decision to refuse its application.
A planning inspector has upheld the council's decision and ruled against the appeal for the four industrial wind turbines.
Action group Save Our Silton had battled tirelessly againt the plans.
