Sherborne school closures today
Most schools are open today despite severe weather conditions.
Charlton Horethorne Primary School and Sticklands Primary School, Evershot, are closed.

Some Sherborne schools are shut today
Sherborne Abbey Primary School is open, but the car park is closed. Visitors and parents are asked to enter via the school hall.
Leweston School and Leweston Prep both remain open for boarders and any day pupils who can travel in safely. The school's Beaminster and Dorchester bus services are not running, but the Castle Carry service is running as normal.

Dorset Police issued a warning to drivers travelling last night along the A352 Old Sherborne Road at Middlemarsh. A spokesman said the road was "treacherous."
