Sherborne pupils enjoy take your gran to school day
SHERBORNE pupils spent the day showing off their school to family members.
Sherborne Preparatory School children hosted a grandparents day and gave tours of their classrooms.

The whole school took part in a musical performance before sitting down for afternoon tea with the 70 guests.
Aurora Mercer, director of marketing and admissions, and assistant Phillipa Jackson organised the day.

Mrs Mercer said: “The children are very proud of their school and were thrilled to be able to lead a tour and show their grandparents some of their work.
“They particularly wanted to show the art rooms and design and technology block which they may not always see on normal visits to the school.
“There were some very sweet musical performances from the children and a few damp eyes in the audience after.
“We run this event every year because it is hugely popular.”
