Further copies of the book are now available from the Senior Lunch Club and Porter Dodson's Sherborne office.
Lunch club member David Prichard, who helped compile the recipe book, said: "Porter Dodson very generously assisted in producing the recipe book for sale to our 90 members who attend Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for lunch and companionship.
"The club has, for almost 20 years, served the community by providing facilities for the elderly who welcome an opportunity to meet others in a joyful environment."
Mr Rhodes said the recipe book was a "tremendous idea" and praised the collaboration with Porter Dodson.
He has also donated £600 raised at a charity fish and chip quiz night he organised last year to the charity.
He said: "This donation is something the club more than deserves.
"I have to commend the work of the Senior Lunch Club volunteers who helped at the quiz night organising and delivering everyone's fish and chips."
