Sherborne arson destroys tonnes of hay and farming machinery
Arsonists have destroyed farm machinery and tonnes of hay in Sherborne.
At around 11pm last night, one retained fire crew from Sherborne was called to the incident near Quarr Nature Reserve, Quarr Lane. The officers found three fires had been started, which were all allowed to burn out under supervision.

Three fires were started near Quarr Nature Reserve in Sherborne by arsonists
Crews were on the scene for two and a half hours to ensure the fires were safety extinguished, and returned this morning to carry out an inspection.
A tractor and bailer and between ten and fifteen tonnes of hay were completely destroyed by the blaze. Dorset Fire and Rescue Service believe the fire was started deliberately.
