Seven arrested after drugs raid on Weymouth pub
Seven people have been arrested after police carried out a drugs raid on a Weymouth pub.
Around 30 officers in riot gear descended on the George Inn in Custom House Quay where they found Class A drugs and a substantial amount of money.

The raid happened in front of shocked diners at 10pm on Thursday.
Three men aged 33, 37 and 63 and three woman aged 33, 35 and 53 were arrested as well as a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of drugs offences.

Police then applied through the council's licensing committee to have the pub closed down until further notice yesterday.
A full hearing is due on November 20.
