Sam Collier penalty denies Wimborne Town victory against Cirencester Town
Sam Collier struck home an 89th-minute penalty to maintain Cirencester Town’s unbeaten away record in Division One South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League, drawing 2-2 at Wimborne Town.
The strike was coolness personified after Nathan Peprah-Annan was adjudged to have handled in the box.
Wimborne opened the scoring on 17 minutes when Micky Hubbard’s free-kick found Tom Jeffes unmarked and he headed past Matt Bath.
Cirencester rallied and Joe Shepherd headed home in style to equalise.

In the second half, it was the hosts who struck first as Jamie Davidson scored.
However, Collier’s spot-kick saved a point for Cirencester.
