Roads closed as heavy rainfall leads to flooding near Dorchester

A series of roads have been closed in Dorset due to heavy rainfall causing flooding this afternoon.

The A352 is closed from the Warmwell Cross roundabout, Warmwell up until the junctions with Sutton Road and Preston Road.

A section of the Dorchester bypass has also been closed due to flooding.

Police have closed the A35 from the Stinsford roundabout and the West Stafford turn.

Traffic is being diverted through Dorchester town centre roundabout.

The A352 is closed in both directions from East Knighton to the Countryman junction.

The A353 at Osmington has been closed because of flooding and a landslip on Whitehorse Hill.

There is also standing water on the A357 at Fiddleford.
