Report into Dorset flooding to be unveiled by council
DORSET County Council will unveil the findings of a report into flooding at three villages last year.
Winterbourne Abbas, Winterbourne Steepleton and Martinstown were impassable for several days during July 2012.
A report into the floods was commissioned by the council's flood risk management team, with the findings to be discussed at a public meeting this week.
Councillor Hilary Cox, cabinet member for the environment at Dorset County Council said: "The management of flood risk needs to involve the whole community. This meeting will give local people an understanding of what the main findings of the report are.
