Report: AFC Bournemouth 1-3 Blackburn Rovers
TWO goals from Jordan Rhodes condemned AFC Bournemouth to a 3-1 defeat against Blackburn Rovers in the SkyBet Championship.
Rovers held a three-goal lead at the break, and a consolation goal from Ryan Fraser wasn't enough to prevent the Cherries avoiding defeat.
The chance of a Cherries comeback was all but over shortly after the restart when substitute Richard Hughes was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Rhodes opened the scoring after ten minutes, before the Scottish international doubled his tally before half time from the penalty spot.

Former Southampton and Newcastle striker Leon Best helped put Rovers out of sight, and despite Fraser firing home for the Cherries - Blackburn hung on for a 3-1 win.
Bournemouth are next in action on Tuesday evening when they visit Leeds United.
