Take it as Red at St John’s Church Wimborne
A FORMER Premier league footballer, a silent disco, a theatre performance and a hog roast are just a few of the items in a packed programme of events taking place at St John’s Church, Wimborne next week.
Under the umbrella of ‘Take it as Red’ week from 30th September to 6th October, the events will give local people the chance to find out more about Christianity.
The rector, the Rev Peter Breckwoldt explained that the event got its name from the fact that in some Bibles the words of Jesus are written in red.
