Rare breed hens stolen in 'upsetting incident' for victim
Police in Lytchett Minster are appealing for witnesses after ten hens were stolen.
The rare breed hens were taken between 7pm on Sunday October 21 and 9am on Monday October 22 from an address along Dorchester Road.

Police Constable Adam Taylor of Purbeck Police said: "All of the hens were Light Sussex breed and are worth £25 each.
"The victim has previously suffered a spate of poultry thefts but nothing since December 2011.

"These have all been pretty upsetting incidents for the victim.
"I'm keen to hear from anyone with any information about this incident, and also from anyone who has been offered poultry in unusual circumstances or for an unusual low price."
