Rallye Sunseeker 2013 moved to October
The popular Rallye Sunseeker will make up the climax of the British Rally Championship as it moves to October next year.
Th event will be based in Poole with drivers taking on over 60 miles of road around the forests of Dorset. This year's event took place in February, and was the opening round of the Championship. However, organisers have moved it the end of the calendar - which could set up an exciting end to the campaign.

The Rallye Sunseeker will also move from its base in Bournemouth to Poole for the first time - with the champions being crowned on Poole Quay.
Rick Smith, Rally Director for Rallye Sunseeker said: "We are delighted with the opportunity to take the event to Poole for 2013, but must give thanks to the Bournemouth Highcliffe Marriott Hotel, who with Bournemouth Council, and others, have for the last 25 years worked with us to produce and deliver a high quality event for the South of England.

"The move to Poole will enhance and further develop our event that will allow us to provide competitors and spectators with something new and innovative."
Next year, the British Rally Championship will become a seven round event, with the Rallye Sunseeker being held on October 18 and 19. This year's event saw Mark Donnelly win the Dorset event after Finnish driver Jarkko Nikara suffered an engine fire on the penultimate stage.
Next year's revised event will give greater incentive to the drivers, as an extra 50 per cent of points will be available for a good finish at The Rallye Sunseeker.
Mark Taylor, Managing Director of the MSA British Rally Championship said: "As part of a wider strategy, we fully support the decision by the Rallye Sunseeker team to move to the end of the season and to be based solely in Poole. What Bournemouth has lost, Poole has gained and I hope they receive 100 per cent support from the local authority.
"A recent event survey showed that rounds of the British Championship net up to £2.5 million to the local economy over a rally weekend and so it will be a huge boost for the area.
"It should provide a fitting finale for the Championship. Crowing the 2013 Champions on Poole Quay will be a fantastic spectacle."
The final event of this year's campaign is taking place in Yorkshire this weekend.
