Racing camels will entertain at Dorset Point to Point
Racing camels will be back at Badbury Rings in Dorset on Sunday February 27 as the finale of the fifth annual Countryside Alliance Point to Point.
Some of the most exciting horse racing of the season consistently attracts record entries at an event which is based on family appeal, with field-sports activities, have-a-go areas for children, country crafts, local food stalls.
Drawing from the whole Wessex region, it is sponsored by Jackson-Stops and Staff, and gates open 9am for terrier racing at 10am, a children's beagle fun race at 10.30 and first race at noon.
The camel race, in which Masters of Foxhounds from across the region jockey the mounts, follows the final race.
