Puddletown RFC cruise past North Dorset III
TWO tries each from Sam Stockley, Jezz Beale and Spud Thompson handed Puddletown a convincing win over North Dorset III.
The home side romped to a 24-point lead at half time and continued their dominance after the break as the Villagers pulled off a dominant display.
Puddletown captain Tom Yeatman said: “This was a good win for us and we are starting to play the style of rugby that we enjoy.
“What is more pleasing is that new players in our squad are really showing what they can do. We need to keep working at training to ensure that we can keep this momentum going.”

The hosts were out of sight at half time, with tries from Beale, Stockley and two from Thompson confirming the bonus point before the break.
North Dorset made a bright start to the second period – but a Puddletown counter attack brought Beale’s second try of the game – with Yeatman adding the conversion.
The visitors grabbed a consolation try after an interception, but some more patient build-up from the Villagers allowed Stockley to score his second try of the game.
North Dorset ended the game on a high, taking advantage of another intercepted pass – but Puddletown had already secured victory.
