Priestley classic opens at Tivoli
ONE of the most significant plays of the past 70 years, J.B. Priestley’s An Inspector Calls, opens at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne.
It was written in 1945 and is a politically charged thriller of mystery and suspense. Although set in 1912 it still asks important questions today about class, society and social responsibility.
Produced by Wimborne Drama and directed by Barry Baynton, An Inspector Calls runs at the Tivoli Theatre from next Thursday (17th) until Saturday (19th), with evening performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
The cast is led by Stuart Glossop as Inspector Goole, with Richard Neal, Chrissie Neal, Tracey Nicholls, David Beddard, John Sivewright and Verena Smith-Maurer.
