Preferred Dorset Chief Constable chosen by Police and Crime Commissioner
Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill has chosen his preferred Chief Constable.
Debbie Simpson, who is currently Acting Chief Constable for Dorset Police has been put forward for the permanent role.

Speaking after the announcement, Mr Underhill said: "I am delighted to proposed Debbie Simpson as the next Chief Constable for Dorset.
"This was a unanimous decision by the panel."
