Sherborne volunteers praised for good work
THE Sherborne Douzelage will praise the work of volunteers at an awards ceremony on Friday.
The reception will celebrate the work of charity and voluntary organisations based in Sherborne, and other areas of Dorset and Somerset, at the Digby Hall, Hound Street.
Mrs Anthony Pitt-Rivers, the Lord Lieutenant of Dorset, will present the awards to nearly 40 organisations.
