A potential blizzard is on its way for Dorset as snow could fall for twelve hours on Friday.
The Met Office has issued a weather warning for snow across the county on Friday, with the potential of heavy snowfall and disruption to travel.

A 'blizzard' could hit Dorset on Friday
A Met Office spokesperson said: "An area of snow looks increasingly likely to spread from the southwest.
"Winds will strengthen and blizzard conditions are likely, especially over high ground.

"Accumulations of more than 10-15cm of snow could well occur quite widely, with the risk of 25cm or more over high ground.
"Clearly there is the potential for some severe disruption, and the public are advised to watch for updates to this warning and to be prepared to alter travel plans."
Dorset managed to escape snow earlier this week, but following icy roads the past few days - snow will cause problems for commuters on Friday.
Weatherman Ian Fergusson warned that more than 12 hours of snow could sweep across the southwest on Friday.
Taking to Twitter, Fergusson said: "Confidence now increasing re disruptive snow Friday. Potential for 12hrs snow across region from Friday am to Friday night."
