Poole man assaulted and robbed in Bournemouth
A POOLE teenager was assaulted near Pier Approach Bournenmouth at 3am on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old was approached from behind while walking at the location and hit over the head with a glass bottle.
The unknown offender then stole his mobile phone and ran off.
The victim was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew before being taken to hospital where he required stitches for a nasty cut to his lip.

Detective Sergeant Andy Bell, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or may have details about the offender to come forward.
“The victim has been left with a nasty injury, and has been left extremely shaken following the attack.
“The offender is described as white, aged 16, of stocky build, around six foot four inches tall and has short brown hair. He was wearing shorts and a red T-shirt."
No arrests have been made.
