Poole fraudster jailed after hiding Jaguar XK120 behind false wall at storage unit
A convicted fraudster from Poole has been jailed after hiding an expensive sports car behind a false wall near Wimborne.
55-year-old Alan Dykes was sentenced for perjury and perverting the course of justice today at Bournemouth Crown Court.
Dykes was originally convicted in 2011 for obtaining a money transfer by deception.
During an investigation into the offence, Dykes declared he had no realisable assets. However, this was found to be untrue, when a high value Jaguar was found behind a false wall at a storage facility.
