Bridgwater Town gave Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South & West leaders Poole Town a scare by starting brightly and taking a seventh-minute lead, but the Dorset side hit back to win 2-1.

Craig Veal put the Somerset side ahead from the penalty spot after a handball decision.

Poole improved after the break and levelled in the 53rd minute when Adam Kelly shot home.

Karim Lammali then put Poole into the lead three minutes later.
